My Yoga journey
Originally from Paris, France, I began practicing yoga in 1998 when I arrived in Hawaii. Since then, I have continued my practice in various places around the world. In 2011, I completed my first teacher training in Hatha Yoga in India with the Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science and Research. I also hold certifications from them in Yoga Therapy and Blissful Meditation, and I am currently studying advanced Yoga Philosophy with a focus on the Bhagavad Gita. Additionally, I hold certifications in Yin Yoga, Iyengar Alignment Yoga, Kundalini, Shakti Rize,( Yoga Dance). I am now 1955 RYT certified. I enjoy teaching yoga in the traditional Indian way.
A Special Mat
Application
Over the years, I have taught in many studios on both Maui and Oahu—offering group and private classes. My teaching is tailored to each student’s needs, often blending different styles into a unique and balanced practice. From energizing Vinyasa flows to restorative Yin, from gentle to power yoga, my classes meet students where they are and help them grow in their own way.
I am now specializing in custom yoga classes designed to support individual goals, whether for physical and mental health, overall well-being.
Where concentration goes, energy flows. Yoga is a path of self-healing, empowerment, learning self-love. Each class includes asanas, pranayamas, meditations and some yogic philosophy. (unless requested otherwise). Classes are suitable for both beginners and intermediate students.
Beginners are excellent yogis because they remain humble and open.
You can be an excellent yogi at any age and level if you learn to use your breath instead of letting the mind take over.
I love helping students enjoy their yoga practice by listening to their bodies and maintaining a calm mind. In this way, they discover that yoga is an active meditation, emphasizing inner awareness.
No mind is Yoga. - Swami Paramanandji
